Meeting this bird proved to be a very special moment in my life. I was in the village bay on St Kilda sailing in a tiny dingy. I had a friend in the dingy who was trying to photograph puffins leaving the sea with lots of fish in their beaks.
 
Suddenly about 30 metres away a large fin appeared. It was a basking shark. It showed some interest in our dingy but gradually moved away. I estimated it’s length to be approximately 7-8 meters long. A memorable meeting.
As all of our sculptures are made to order, delivery may take up to 10 weeks.
