Many of my kingfisher studies result from sketches that I did one incredible afternoon in Lathkill Dale in the Derbyshire Peak District.
 
I came across a family of kingfishers that were feeding in a quiet backwater of the river. Every dive resulted in the capture of a stickleback and the kingfishers were totally oblivious to my presence. I sketched furiously for twenty five minutes. It was a magical time.
 As all of our sculptures are made to order, delivery may take up to 10 weeks.
